I was the primary caregiver for my mom and step-dad. Several years ago I told my brothers I wanted to be the Power of Attorney and other legal responsibilities. They asked me why I wanted to take on this responsibility. I knew I was needed and with my business experience, I was equipped to navigate the healthcare and financial aspects or so I thought.
When they were in two different hospitals, the hard work began. My step dad has since passed away and my mom fell and broke her hip. I have made so many mistakes with my mom's care. With my blog, I will share my mistakes and what to avoid.
